Hole # 1 -
A fairly short par 4. Once you land your tee shot in the fairway, the green is accessible with a short to mid iron. Bunkers in the front guard the green. |
Hole # 2 -
A long and demanding par 5 with bunkers placed strategically down both sides of the fairway. You'll have to avoid a dry streambed, which meanders throughout the hole. Accuracy is a must. Bunkers to the right protect the Green. Plenty of room to approach the green on the left side. |
Hole # 3 -
From the back tees, you will play this par 3 from over 200 yards. However, tee options allow you to play it from as close as 130 yards. A bunker protects the entire left side of the green, making the right side more inviting.
Hole # 4 -
Don't let this short par 4 fool you. The fairway has been widened from the original design providing a friendly landing area for drivers or 3 woods. A premium is placed on the second shot when you approach this elevated green with a short iron or wedge. |
Hole # 5 -
The dogleg left par 4 has a generous landing area off the tee and a green that slopes towards you. A waste bunker doubling as the cart path runs down the left side.
Hole # 6 -
It's a dogleg right with water off the tee if you try to cut some distance. Three easy shots will get you to the green on this par 5. Or, roll the dice and go for the green in two, but watch out for the wide bunker in front of the green.
Hole # 7 -
Lucky number seven is a long par three. The left side of the green is accessible over dry land while the right side requires a path over the water with a long iron. Feeling lucky?
Hole # 8 -
An elevated green awaits two pure shots through our pine forest. This par 4 may be the toughest hole on this side. Pick the correct tee box or you'll feel like you're playing a short par 5.
Hole # 9 -
Nine is rated as the number one handicap hole. This fairway is one of our widest. While the second shot still requires a long to mid iron, the fairway is level and the green is large with room to run it up.
Hole # 10 -
This par 4 epitomizes our tranquil forest golf course. Equivalent to a "hand shake". Firm but friendly. No turns, no tricks, no bunkers. Ample landing area for your tee shot and a receptive two-tier green accessible with a mid iron.
Hole # 11 -
Drive it down the left side of this par 4 and it's smooth sailing for your second shot. Drive it down the right side and you will have to contend with a large oak tree before hitting the green with your mid iron.
Hole # 12 -
A classic par 5 with clear risks and rewards. Plan on getting to the green in three and there is very little risk. Looking for a little reward? Go for the green in two and you can thread the needle between two bodies of water. The huge, double green complex tempts you to fire away on your second shot.
Hole #13 -
Don't bite off more than you can chew on this 235 yard, U.S. Open style par 3. Back tees will reveal 200 yards of forced carry over water. Middle tees from 160 yards come in from the left and take the water out of play. Shorter hitters experience a breath of fresh air with no water and a line to the green devoid of bunkers.
Hole # 14 -
If you played 13 from the back tees, pat yourself on the back and take a break. This par 4 shows you a larger fairway and a massive, double green which slopes towards you. You'll be coming at the green with a mid to long iron.
Hole # 15 -
The tee shot on this par 4 looks difficult, but its bark is worse than its bite. The fairway is plenty wide. Make sure you take it down the right side, or you might get cut off by the lone pine tree in the left rough. Deep bunkers in front mean "miss it long".
Hole #16 -
You're almost there. Take another deep breath, especially if you were in the greenside bunker on 15. What you see is what you get on this par 3. Attack the flag with a short iron over water to a large green. Seasoned golfers and juniors come in from the right with no water in play.
Hole # 17 -
Take your time. Plan to hit this green in three shots and you won't get frustrated. This green is very friendly to shorter irons and is unfavorable to fairway woods. Slow and steady wins the race on this par 5. Bombers going for the green in two may get more than they bargained for in a steep lipped greenside bunker. Take it easy, you'll need to be relaxed going into 18.
Hole # 18 -
Grip it and rip it. You're going to hit the fairway. This par 4 is not about driving. It's about your second shot. Brave souls take it over the pond and attack the pin with a mid to long iron. The faint of heart will play it safe, down the left where there is a bail out area. Remember, your friends are watching from the 19th hole behind the green.
